Our Endorsement Philosophy

IBEW Local 77 believes in establishing a collaborative working relationship with policymakers that we hope to build on throughout their career in public service. We strive to achieve a good utility and energy policy for Washington, Idaho, Montana, and the Nation by advocating for the hard-working people who make that policy a reality every day.

This questionnaire is an opportunity for us to establish a baseline understanding of your candidacy and to help us prepare for a productive candidate interview.

The interview is a key stage in our endorsement process:

• We provide you with a detailed understanding of the work our members do, the challenges they face, and our union policy priorities.

• We also want to learn about your plans as a candidate, your priorities as a policymaker, and how we can work collaboratively.
